As there is no code left from other authors after the rewrite, I can
assign a copyright license freely, and hereby choose the GNU General
Public License version 3, or at your option any later version published
by the Free Software Foundation ("GPLv3+").

The register definition files are still mostly unchanged from when the
previous author (Peter Kjellström) wrote them. However, as they are
really just simple transcriptions of information provided by various
device vendors into a simple and specific format, they are unlikely to
reach the threshold of originality (Swedish: "verkshöjd") required to
afford copyright protection. The CHANGELOG file is likewise unlikely
to reach the required threshold of originality.

(Removing the code from other authors was not a goal itself for the
rewrite for version 2, nor was re-licensing under the GPL. But when
it turned out that no older code remained, it became easy to put a
good license on mbtcpget, and I then took the opportunity of doing so.)
