Missing AMPL licence

When trying to run AMPL I get the following error message. Does it require any other configuration?

License file ampl.lic not found anywhere in $PATH.
AMPL Version 20191223 (Linux x86_64 (gcc 7.4.1))

Duplicate of #9 (closed). Running module load local/ampl/20241203 works but is not intuitive since there is another module with the same name that loads by default if you only run module load ampl. The other module should ideally be removed.
