Is using links okay?

Hello!

We have a question regarding how we set up our navigation in our project. In a previous course we used different views when creating a static site. We would like to try using link elements to divide our site into different parts and are wondering if this is okay? We have watched some tutorial videos on react and this seems to be the way people build menues.
